– THE MONKEY BUSINESS
Misconception 1 is design is easy and quick. This can lead to unrealistic expectations and disappointment when the design process is longer.
The cost of branding can vary widely depending on a number of factors, such as size of your business, your industry, and your brand goals.
Understanding what brand strategy that resonates with your audience is one among the most important steps to a strong brand presence.

Thanks, Han! This is really a great issue, especially for those entry-level designers on what to expect in the real design world. A healthy designer-client relationship also involves setting clear expectations, outlining project timelines, and establishing a budget. By establishing these factors early on, both parties can ensure they are on the same page and working towards the same goals. Again, great help! Thank you!

Such a great article. I deeply understand the misconceptions in it. In many cases, insufficient research leads to lack of understanding. I’ve also run into the other extreme. Clients think they know everything about their brand because they own it. After that they override designers and creatives. Designers become computer operators which is sad and disrespectful.

I love this! So true for me as I encounter some clients who have unrealistic expectations and thinks a designer can do all miracles. Great article Han.
